Pull the tank, drain it and remove the petcock. Pull off the fuel filter and clean it and the petcock (set on prime) with carb cleaner. Worked for mine when I got a batch of contaminated fuel (water, rust, sand and who knows what else).
Some carb cleaners eat fuel filter plastic, so if the screen looks alright, just spray the inside of the petcock. It only requires a small piece of trash to stop up the upper end of the fuel pipe.
If that doesn't work, replace your vacuum line and keep your fingers crossed. Vacuum petcocks came out about 20 years ago, and have not kept pace with technology.
